Our Success Stories
Warragul Rotary Club raises around $50,000 each year, which we are proud to distribute to projects locally, for the district, nationally and internationally. Some projects we have supported include:
  • Sponsors International student exchanges to and from Australia
  • Hosts an Annual Art Show in the Baw Baw Shire
  • Grows and sells Christmas trees.
  • Refurbished Rotary Park at the corner of Latrobe and Queen Streets in 2013/14 supplied and erected the gates to Logan Park.
  • Built the Warragul Guide Hall at Brogie Park.
  • Provided a bus for the Pindari Vision Australia centre.
  • Fund raised for and built the Helipad at West Gippsland Hospital
  • Extended the kitchen for Warragul Scout Hall
  • Built the day centre for Scope.
  • Funded and worked on Aid projects in Indonesia,Papua New Guinea and Zimbabwe with clean water and school repairs.
  • Provided immediate shelter for 100 people via Rotary with shelter boxes after the Boxing Day tsunami.
